What to Expect from Wellevate
Wellevate is an 8-session program designed to guide you over the course of 4 months. As your health coach, I’ll be by your side every step of the way, providing structure, accountability, and motivation—but the journey is yours to lead.
The Foundational Session (90 minutes)
Before we begin, you'll receive a comprehensive intake form, allowing me to get a deep understanding of your current health, lifestyle, and goals. You’ll also complete a “Wheel of Life” assessment that dives into various areas of your life, providing valuable insights into where we should focus during our work together.
During this first session, we’ll use your intake form and Wheel of Life results to create a clear picture of your health journey. We’ll review your health history, assess where you are today, and set realistic, actionable steps to help you reach your goals.
Follow-Up Sessions (7 sessions, 50 minutes each)
Each follow-up session builds on your progress. We’ll start by celebrating your “wins,” then dive into any challenges you’re facing. Whether it’s nutrition, stress, sleep, or fitness, we’ll work through each area in a way that aligns with your lifestyle and goals. Together, we’ll set new action steps after each session, so you’re always moving forward.
After every session, you'll receive detailed notes summarizing our conversation and outlining your next steps. Plus, I’ll send worksheets or resources as needed to keep you on track between meetings.
Ongoing Support & Accountability
The motivation and accountability that come with health coaching are key to making lasting change. Between sessions, you'll have full access to me via email and chat, so you’re never alone on your journey. I check in regularly to provide guidance, encouragement, and answer any questions you may have. The goal? To equip you with the tools you need to thrive on your own long-term.
Extend Your Journey
While many clients reach their goals in 4 months, some prefer to continue their progress. After the initial program, you can transition into a subscription-based service for continued support and personalized coaching.

Health coaching is for anyone ready and motivated to make changes in their life but unsure how to get started. Health coaches are in your corner to help you achieve your goals in the way that works for YOU. There is no “one-size fits all” approach in health coaching. Health coaches take the time to listen to your health history and the current state of your health to work on creating a plan that is actually attainable and sustainable.

The short answer is no. I don’t like “diets” at all. Research shows that that diets aren’t effective and eventually people stop doing them for one reason or another. A diet makes it seem like there is a starting point and a stopping point to healthy eating. I encourage an overall lifestyle change in how you look at nutrition. I want my clients to understand that what they eat affects how their body performs. Whether they are a pregnant mom growing a life or a mom who has been trying to lose the baby weight for years—our bodies are amazing and will respond to us if we treat them right.

I graduated from Purdue University with my Bachelors degree in teaching. After having my kids, I decided I wanted to continue my education with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy which is the only health coaching program designed in collaboration with The Institute for Functional Medicine and fully approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. FMCA is the international gold standard in health coach training. Some of my professors included Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Kristi Hughes, Dr. Tom O’Bryan and Dr. Deanna Minich. My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in the principles of Functional Medicine and nutrition, mind-body medicine, and positive psychology to help transform my clients lives.

While some maintain their own practice, Registered Dieticians often work in conventional medical settings, such as hospitals and public health centers with doctors to help patients with series health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or cancer. Registered Dietitians are overseen by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and must therefore follow a certain set of guidelines in terms of the recommendations they can make to patients. While this ensures a certain level of standard practice, it leaves less room for individualized support and does not take into account the non-dietary aspects of life that facilitate or prevent healing (such as anxiety about work, lack of sleep or adequate hydration, or time for relaxation). Being in more conventional settings, RD’s are generally less able to provide ongoing support to patients, and their focus is more on disease-management and the elimination of symptoms rather than achieving a higher level of thriving in life.

As a general rule, I recommend a minimum of 4-months to my clients. Achieving true-sustainable change takes time! Additionally, I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. You’re less likely to sustain something that doesn’t serve you as a whole. This doesn’t mean you won’t start seeing and feeling results before 4 months is over, in fact, most clients start feeling better after our first week of working together. If after completing all 8 sessions you feel you would benefit from extra coaching, I am always open to discussing options to extend your program. If you feel like you would benefit from a shorter program, I do offer a “mini” Wellevate program that is a Foundational Session with 3 checkpoint sessions.
